On Wednesday, August 23, 2023, Brett Thomas Lehman, a loving husband, brother, and friend, passed away at the age of 43 in Weatherford, Texas. Brett was born on July 1, 1980, in Arlington, Texas to Carl Jr. and Patricia Lehman, and was the youngest brother of three.
He had an immense love for his wife, Callie, and their dogs Ryder, Layla, and Axel, and treasured the moments spent with them. He enjoyed working with his hands on home projects, exploring small towns at night with Callie on his motorcycle, and spending quality time with his cherished friends and family.
Brett was often mistaken for being Stone Cold Steve Austin and loved it. He made his friends and family feel safe and had a bigger heart than most know.
With an unwavering devotion, Brett was a pillar of support and strength. He was always there ready to lend a helping hand, offering comfort and security to his family and friends in times of need. Brett’s generous spirit and nurturing nature earned him the admiration and respect of all who knew him. He was someone people respected and could lean on.
Brett’s bright personality made him the life of the party, and he effortlessly brought smiles to the faces of those around him. Whether it was making a long story short or cracking jokes, Brett had a way of making himself memorable. He cherished the memories of getting into mischief and wrestling with his brothers (Skipper would let him win every now and then, but Chance never did). He never stopped raising hell with his brothers and friends.
He is survived by his wife Callie Lehman, his mother Patricia Lehman, his older brothers, Chance and Skipper Lehman, and sister Lynette Draper. He is predeceased by his father, Carl Lehman Jr.
The funeral services to celebrate Brett’s life will be held at 4140 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Texas 76013, where friends and family can pay their respects and share memories.
Though Brett may no longer be physically present with us, his memory will forever live on in the hearts and minds of all who had the privilege of knowing him. Let us remember him fondly for his generous spirit, infectious laughter, and unwavering love for his family and friends. May his soul find eternal peace, and may we find comfort in the precious memories we shared with him.
Brett married Callie on October 17, 2018 in Key West, Florida. The couple is expecting baby Wyatt in November 2023.
He graduated from Mansfield Highschool in 1996 and went on to earn his Associates from Tarrant County College. He was determined and skillful in his career as a Security, Compliance, Fleet, and HSE Manager for 18 years.
Visitation service for Brett will be Friday September 8, 2023 from 6-8 p.m. at Wade Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Brett will be Saturday September 9, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Wade Funeral Home.
