ARLINGTON -- Brad Kelly, loving dad, son, brother, uncle and friend, passed away on Friday, May 9, 2014. Memorial service: A celebration of Brad's life and legacy will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 13th at First Presbyterian Church, Fort Worth. Memorials: In lieu of flowers, the Kelly family requests donations be made to New Century Hospice. Brad was a sweet soul, welcomed into heaven and missed on earth. Brad loved taking his three kids, Trey (13), Tyler (11) and Anna (6), camping near and far in their trusty RV with Uncle Murney (brother, Murray) and Grammy (mother, Gwen Kelly). A boy with many toys, Brad led regular "Beverly Hillbillies" camping adventures that were enjoyed by all. He had a lifelong love affair with coffee, Coca-Cola, and anything sweet, and he fully participated in the Kelly family tradition of planning the next meal while eating the present. His presence at the table will be missed. Creative thinker and problem solver, artist, and handyman, the wheels in Brad's mind were always turning and planning his next project. He could fix anything, was the first to offer help, and when posed with a request small or large, responded with a snap, wink, and “Can do!” Brad had an infectious joy, kind spirit, and an ability to lighten up any situation, even when sick. Brad never met a stranger and leaves an uncountable number of folks impacted by his help and kindness. He will be joining his father, Jack Kelly, and beloved weenie dog, Roscoe, in heaven along with all his friends and family who have gone before him. Whatever projects they've been saving, Brad will get right on them. Survivors: He is survived by his mother, Gwen Kelly; children, Trey, Tyler and Anna; siblings, Murray Kelly, Jane Kelly Masters, Lou Kelly and Andy Kelly; brothers-in-law, Randy Masters and Bob Rapp; nieces and nephews, Elizabeth Fenter, Nathan Pruitt, Alex Masters, Caitlin Kelly Engle, Jack Kelly and Anna Kelly; the mother of his children, Traci Fritz Kelly; dear friends, Robert and Briggette Boolos; the extended Kelly clan; and adoring dog, Toby.
