Beverly June (Hooper) Gober, 82, passed away on December 9, 2021. She was born on June 10, 1939, in Burkburnett, Texas to Tempa Oleta and Harold C. Hooper.

A funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington, Texas. The burial will follow at Moore Memorial Gardens.

Beverly, aka BJ, married Donald W. Gober on May 18, 1956. The wife of a career Air Force Officer, she was a very active member of the Officer’s Wives Club. Beverly was a devoted Mother to her only daughter, Donna, Grandmother of Chris Jr., Benjamin, and Zachary, and Great Grandmother to Blakely, Cooper, Landry June, and Grayson Brave. BJ loved to travel, and she has been to many countries and all 50 states. BJ was an excellent chef, seamstress and homemaker. Beverly loved her family dearly and enjoyed spending time with them. Beverly June will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Left behind to cherish her memory is her husband of 65 years, Donald W. Gober; daughter, Donna Hart, and husband Chris; sister, Marty Bonner; brother, Dean Hooper, and wife Esther; sisters in law, Lilli, and Sandi Gober; and a myriad of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents; brothers in law, Curt Norman, Olen Gober, and Bill Bonner; sisters in law, Beverly Gober, and Cathy Gober.

  1. Loved this lady she was my walking buddy at the Summit we had many wonderful talks and memories of Air Force dependent life. Betty is one of a kind. Prayers for all of her family. I have really missed her and Don since I had to move

  2. Aunt Beverly loved her Don Gober and her family. Her big smile and stories of her and Don’s adventures traveling and during their Air Force assignments will always be missed. So many good memories growing up and throughout life will always stay near and dear to my heart and memory. She leaves behind a great legacy in Don, Donna, her grandkids, family and many friends. We will see you again in Heaven!
