Beverly Jean Shadix, 66, passed away at her home in Athens, Texas on December 9, 2021. She was born on April 2, 1955, in San Angelo, Texas to Lois and John Traywick.
Funeral service will be held at 2pm on Wednesday, December 22, 2021, at Wade Family Funeral Home in Arlington. The burial will follow at Parkdale Cemetery in Arlington.
Beverly loved her family and adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, John Shadix, Jr.; closest lifelong friend, Sharla Fife; daughter Deidra Perez and Fiancé Jonathan Statler; sons John Shadix III and wife Brittni, John Joshua Shadix and Maddy McPhee, and John Ryley Shadix; grandchildren, Corbin, Taylor and Dominic Perez, Alli and Kelsi Shadix, and Kinley Statler.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, Lois and John L. Traywick, and brother, Ronald L. Traywick.

This is a loss to so many as Bev was such a loving, kind, giving soul..mother, grandmother, wife, and dear friend. We pray Lord that you comfort her loved ones, knowing she is by your side and pain free. Amen
