GRAND PRAIRIE -- Beatrice "Bunny" Denise Pike, 73, beloved mother, passed away on Monday, July 20, 2015 in Grand Prairie surrounded by her children.
Memorial Service: 4:00 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Inurnment: at a later date, Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas.
Memorials: In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, alz.org, 800-272-3900.
Bunny was born on July 11, 1942 in New York, NY. She put herself through school and graduated from Texas Woman's University. Bunny enjoyed traveling, drawing, walking and reading. She enjoyed attending the theatre and symphony. Bunny always loved ice cream.
She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Kelk; and husband, Bob Pike.
Survivors: Son, John Whalin and wife, Leslie; daughters, Mary Kralich and husband, Jerry, and Karen Kolanowski and husband, Mark; boyfriend, Ron Zembek; former husband and father of her children, John Whalin; grandchildren, Ashley and husband, Bo, Chrissy and husband, Jonathan, Kayce, Kristian, Audrey and Georgia; great-grandchildren, Maddie, Abby and Hudson.

Bunny and I were neighbors for several years and I missed her so much when she became ill. We had fun lunching and shopping. Clothes looked great on her! Her shyness was misinterpreted by some but I found it refreshing in today’s world. My prayers for peace and comfort are for her family. May her soul rest in peace. Ann Barton
