Basmat Ria Pillai, 92, passed away on Friday, March 26, 2021 in Arlington. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 31 at Wade Family Funeral Home Chapel, Arlington. Interment: Emerald Hills Memorial Park, Kennedale. Rea was born on November 24, 1928 in Georgetown, Guyana in South America. An Arlington resident for the past 25 years, she was a member of the Red Hat Society. Ria was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Pillai; and two children, Dennis Pillai and Diana Pillai. Survivors: Son, Clifford Herbert Pillai; daughters, Pauline Prasad, Maureen Husain and Claudette Ramphul; sister, Norma Arjune; and 15 grandchildren. Wade Family Funeral Home (817) 274-9233
