ARLINGTON -- Barbara Kearns Moran, 74, passed away Monday, Aug. 24, 2015, in Weatherford.
Funeral: 11 a.m. Monday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: 1:30 p.m. in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, Dallas. Visitation: The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Donations may be made to Cook Children's Medical Center, www.cookchildrens.org, or to the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org.
Barbara was born July 21, 1941, in Fall River, Mass., to Thomas Francis Kearns and Irene Dastou Kearns. She retired after many years of working as a lunch lady for several school districts.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: Husband, Douglas Moran; daughter, Debbie Harrison and husband, Donald; son, David Moran and wife, Gina; son, Tom Moran and wife, RaLona; grandchildren, Shena Deas, Dustin Harrison, Devin Harrison, Bailie Moran and Katie Moran; great-grandchildren, Preston Deas and Dylan Drake; sister, Jackie Rudyk and husband, Chuck; and several nieces and nephews.

She was a wonderful ,strong.caring ,funny,sweet,beautiful mama to have. She shows us how to be strong and smile when life gets tough!!! We will miss her very very much. I love her sooooo much .
