Barbara Sue Meador

Barbara Sue Meador, 80, passed away on July 7, 2021 in Arlington. Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday, July 17, at Lake Church, 2912 Little Rd., Arlington. Interment: Moore Memorial Gardens, Arlington. Memorials: Memorial gifts may be made to Lake Church Youth Ministry. Barbara was born on February 8, 1941 in Decatur, Texas to Leonard Frank Boydston and Meda Faye McDaniel Boydston. She was a loving wife, mother, and Meme. She was an active member of Lake Arlington Baptist Church where she played the piano and organ for many years and volunteered in the nursery. Barbara enjoyed writing, journaling, and sending notes of encouragement. She was a caring and supportive person who was a Prayer Warrior for many. She dearly loved her husband and family. Barbara and her husband, Dave, were always together. She referred to him as “My Dave." Barbara was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, David Vernon Meador. Survivors: Son, David Vernon Meador II and wife, Tisa; daughters, D'Ann Meador Roberts and husband, Adam, Beverly Meador Damon and husband, Duane; brother, Leonard Bart Boydston; grandchildren, Mason and wife, Dakota, Reagan and wife, Madeline, Zachary, Bailey, Lyndsey, Morgan, and Mackenzie; and great-grandchildren, Karsyn and Madisyn.
