  1. Miss Chance was such a bright spot to the Macau MKs. While she was never my teacher I watched her teach my siblings and their friends. She did so patiently and with humor. We all loved and adored her. I look forward to our reunion in Glory!

  2. CandleImageThere are people in your life that just bring you peace, you feel the spirit of the Lord every time you are with them. Nita was that person for me. Her kindness and her servant’s heart were evident in everything she did. She was our angel on Earth and now in Heaven. This is what she me with… “He will cover you with his feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart”. Psalm 91.4

  3. CandleImageHello to the family of Ms. Chance, my name is Geraldine Sie. I want to share how I know and met Ms. Chance with you all in honour of her memory. I met her in Macau during her time as a teacher for the children of missionaries that visited. She was an incredibly influential woman, and she touched the lives of all those who had the great opportunity of knowing her. Although we didn’t see each other too often, every time I got to talk to her, it was always a really nice conversation. I could tell she really cared for not only the children she taught, but their families and everybody else around her. She was a strong godly woman that always spread the love of God every chance she had. My family and I will always miss her, but I am happy and grateful to have known her. Thank you for letting me share a little bit about how I knew Ms. Chance. She was truly such a light.

  4. Miss Chance had been a special friend and sister in Christ in a personal way. I will share three highlights about Miss Chance. In a short period of my life, I taught a group of MK Cantonese. I remembered that Miss Chance wanted to make sure no students would act unkind to me so she explained clearly how they should behave. Sometimes she even walked quietly and watched quietly from outside just to make sure all was well. She
    was a caring person.
At one time she took me to a very high class restaurant in the President Hotel. The place was elegant with live pianist. Food was delicious. She did not know that I had never went to such an expensive place before. My heart was so thrilled and overwhelmed with joy. We enjoyed our dinner and friendship in the Lord.
One day she told me that she wanted me to give her a Cantonese Name. I told her that I would with prayer because it needed to fit her. 陳頌恩 ( Chan Joung-Praise,Yian-Grace ) meant she would praise Jesus through His grace.
Her acts of Christianity was very tangible in my life. Her love for her Master will not stop ; it has passed down to me and my children and will continue until Jesus return. Thanks for sharing your Miss Chance to me. Praying for you all to be comforted. May you all draw near to your Creator.
