ARLINGTON -- Amy Michelle McDonald, 38, passed away Monday, October 15, 2012 in Arlington. Funeral: 2 p.m. Friday at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Interment: Parkdale Cemetery, Arlington. Memorials: The Dallas/Fort Worth Brain Tumor Walk. Amy was born May 24, 1974 in Garland to Phillip McDonald and Debra Williams Lonsford. Survivors: Mother, Debra Lonsford; step-father, Don Lonsford; father, Phillip McDonald; sisters, Lauren Mills and husband, Bryan and Callie Lonsford; grandparents, Bob and Kay Williams and Paul and Jackie Wyatt; grandmother, Verna McDonald; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other family members. Debbie,Don,Lauren,Callie&Family,Our thoughts and prayer are with you.I have so many memories of all the times that Angie and Amy spend together.Amy was Angie’s first friend when she started at Speer and even as a 5th grader, Amy knew how to be a friend to the “new kid”. There were many sleepovers, cheerleading, phone calls and boyfriends. Our family loved Amy and she was a special friend to Angie.Thank you for sharing her with our family.
