Arlington, Texas
Surrounded by loved ones, Amanda Paige Joyner Johnson went home to be with the Lord at 5:00 p.m., May 12, 2022, in UT Southwestern, in Dallas. Amanda was born in Grand Prairie, but spent most of her life in Arlington, Texas.
Amanda’s kind, caring and expressive nature was ideal for her years working as an American Airlines customer resolution supervisor. Amanda’s resilient strength allowed her to work more years than most with her health concerns.
Throughout her life, Amanda enjoyed faith in God and a true love of animals and music. Amanda never met a stranger and always parted with a new friend. With all she went through, her beautiful heart and soul is what we remember and miss most.
Amanda was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Patricia Ann “Patty” Kincaid Cooper Watts and her “Pa” Vernon Cooper.
Amanda is survived by husband, Cameron Johnson and her in-laws Doyle & Joyce Johnson; her mother and dad, Tammy & Kyle Dubberke, step-siblings Michael, Jennifer & Ryan, who grew up with her in Arlington; her father Brian Joyner, grandparents Barry & Sharon Ann Joyner, as well as a host of other family and friends.
Family will receive visitors from 6 -8 pm, May 20 at Wade Funeral Home in Arlington. Funeral service will be 2p May 21 with procession and interment immediately following at Rawlins Cemetery, Lancaster, Texas.

Randy knew her better than I did but I still feel your pain. ❤️
Sending prayers of peace and may you draw comfort from your memories with Amanda.
All I can think about is when the kids all played together when they were little. I am truly so sorry for your loss Kyle and especially Tammy. No mother should ever have to go through this. My heart goes to you. Prayers for peace and comfort. Amanda was a very special young lady that will be missed.
And So my family knows I miss and love them to dearly soon as I get a chance In coming to spend some time with you guys. I wish I was able to be with you guys now. I say that with a heavy heart. U guys mean the world to me. Amanda does too. We must go on though. It’s gonna be hard but she would want everyone too, live the beat life you possibly can.
You raised one of the best people in this world. Amanda was so kind, caring and worried about everyone else, no matter what she had going on. She would light up a dark room with her smile and laugh. She had the biggest heart of anyone I’ve met. She was a great friend, and would support you to the fullest.
I remember when she came to Michigan, she seen snow drifts that were taller than her and she just had so much fun! I will always cherish and remember our times we had together in Michigan and in Texas.
Michael’s neighbors,
