September 28, 1966 ~ March 11, 2023

Born in: Usmajac, Jalisco, Mexico
Resided in: Arlington, Texas

Aldo Martin Renteria, age 56 of Arlington, Texas passed away peacefully in his home on March 11, 2023.

Aldo was born on September 28, 1966 in Usmajac, Jalisco, Mexico to Manuel and Alicia Renteria. He graduated from Dawson High School and attended Navarro College before later earning a Bachelor of Engineering Degree from Texas A&M University.

Aldo’s middle name Martin came from St. Martin of Tours, also known as Martin the Merciful who was known for his encounter with a half-naked beggar at the gate of the city of Amiens in Northern France. St. Martin cut his cloak in half in order to share it with the beggar, who that night appeared to him in a dream-vision and revealed himself to be Christ. Like St. Martin, Aldo Martin would give the shirt off his back to anyone that needed it. He was a caring, generous and loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend and his middle name suited him perfectly!

Aldo enjoyed spending time with his family, caring for his mother, and cheering on all six of his grandkids. He enjoyed working out and being outdoors and his love for running and football has been passed down to all his generations.

Aldo loved being a mechanical engineer and his attention to detail and brilliant mind made him very successful in his career. His hard work and legacy will be remembered by all and he will be greatly missed.

Aldo was preceded in death by his father Manuel Renteria (July 8, 1991) and sister Angelica Sabala (November 23, 2019).

He is survived by his mother Alicia Renteria; daughters Ashley Whitmore (husband Brian) and Alexis Braden; grandchildren Addison, Brody and Caleb Whitmore, Kylee Hoggatt, Lane and Alayna Braden; sisters Jacaranda Vigil, Claudina Lira, Alicia Nesmith (husband Dean), Veronica Peloquin (husband Rob); brother-in-law Mike Sabala; nieces Elisa Campbell (husband Derek), Krista Tallman (husband Saxon), Bianca Zamora (husband Josh), Miranda Peloquin; nephews Ryan Sabala, Garrett Nesmith, Blake Nesmith and Jean-Luc Peloquin.

Pallbearers are Dean Nesmith, Rob Peloquin, Santiago Rendon, Stacey Slater, Brian Whitmore, Ryan Sabala, Garrett Nesmith, and Blake Nesmith. Honorary Pallbearers are Jean-Luc Peloquin, Mike Sabala, Derek Campbell, Saxon Tallman and Josh Zamora.
