Just found out about Marissa’s death... stopped in to tell the staff at ASI that our grand daughter who took clinics and lessons from Marissa this past summer, made team at her gym in Boerne. She loved Marissa and really improved under her coaching. Prayers for you as you mourn her loss.

Marissa was such a delightful coach to my older daughter, Lexi, who was a former member of one of her competitive teams at ASI. Whenever we would see her for class, she would always deliver high energy and genuine excitement in offering direction to the girls. She was a great coach and would encourage both of my girls to be the very best they could be both in training for competitions, and in life. More than just being a great coach, she was a role model for the girls in the ASI community. You will be missed, Marissa, and we will pray for you, Lipsey family.

Kind regards,
Lexi, Tori and (dad) Jabari Craft

Marissa was always so sweet and kind. She was 3 when we met her and Her mom when they came to school and picked up Brittany and Erika. She was always so happy and we loved watching the kids play. Marissa you are so missed by many. We love you and can’t wait to see your beautiful face again

We have been going to ASI for years for classes and open gyms. Although we never had the pleasure of her coaching our child, our paths crossed during the many times we were there. Her smile is the first thing that comes to mind as well as her bubbly personality. She would talk frequently to our son at open gym which was comforting to us because he usually went by himself. To her family, we are so very sorry for your loss and will continue to pray for you. She had a way of lighting up a room without even saying a word. We will miss her and her beautiful smile. - Michael, Stacy and Jacob Hall
