Memorials: Those who wish may donate in Barbara's name to The American Diabetes Association.
She graduated from Arlington High School and was a Teacher’s Assistant at Arlington Independent School District until retiring in 2017. Barbara enjoyed spending time with family and friends and she loved a good laugh. She was a member of Northwest Christian Church as her mother and father were. Barb’s giant smile and booming laugh will be missed by all that knew her. Although we are selfishly sad she is gone, we will rest easy knowing that she has been reunited with her loving mother and father. She is surely in Granny’s arms now, which is a wonderful place to be.
Survivors: Barbara is survived by her son, Cliff Mead; daughter, Randi Andersen; brothers, Mitchell Bryan Buck Jr. and Rolfe Holkesvik; sister, Paula Turner; one niece, six nephews and her grandchildren, Avery Hubbard and Mitchell Mead.
